The Guides

The Australian Guides to Implementing Food Traceability (AGIFT) assist companies to identify the critical tracking events and key data elements required to track their products from paddock to fork. The Guides enable businesses to securely and safely share data through the use of global data standards and data security protocols.

The first in the AGIFT series is a generic Guide covering all food products; it was published in October 2021 and is available from Deakin University.

Currently under development are AGIFT: Red Meat and Livestock Traceability Guide and AGIFT: Organic Produce Traceability Guide.
